Advocacy

Representing your business on policy issues

Advocating on behalf of more than 700 members and 60,000 employees, the Bossier Chamber is your voice for business in Bossier Parish and beyond.  The Bossier Chamber’s Government Relations Committee oversees the priorities affecting the business climate, quality of life and economic development efforts on the local, state and national level.

Not only do we visit the state Capitol multiple times per year and participate in three different Washington, D.C. fly-ins, we also advocate on the local level by attending City Council, Police Jury, MPC and School Board meetings on a regular basis.

From letter-writing campaigns to get the Barksdale Interchange funding secured to sitting on coalition committees for the betterment of our region, the Bossier Chamber of Commerce staff and board are active members in policy making at the local, state and national level.
